Copenhagen is a magnificent city. Enhedslisten (Ø) wants to make it even better. We know that our city can build more community: We can fight poverty and crime more compassionately. We can make public transportation cheaper and better. And we can replace tax breaks with improved health and education.
Enhedslisten wants to employ a new social worker every time a new policeman is deployed. We will build bicycle paths and stop claiming bus fares for short rides. We will introduce a congestion charge while cancelling the plans for a road tunnel that would bring more cars into the city center. And we will require the city and its subcontractors to take in more trainees and apprentices.
Enhedslisten is the best choice for Copenhageners who support universal rights. We are deeply committed to fighting discrimination. We oppose the discrimination against non-Europeans in schools and social services and stand by our belief that all the people who live in Copenhagen must have the same rights.
